Change of Venue

LESAC have changed venue on both Monday and Thursday evenings.

Monday

We still have the swim session at west Park from 20:30 - 21:30, but now meet afterwards at Eaton Farm Pub, Whilsthorpe Island. The bar at West Park became very unreliable, often being closed. They also stopped serving draught beer, and over charged for the bottled and canned beer.

Thursday

The new venue is the Rose and Crown, Market Street, Draycott. The last pub closed for a while and we had to find a temporary venue. When the pub re-opened it did not have a stable future, and occasionally did not open. We decided to look for a permanent move, and found the Rose and Crown at Draycott.

The Rose and Crown has now become our official meeting place for Thursday evening, ratified at the AGM, March 18, 2010.
